Well, I think the melons are done. Dad said he doesn’t want to sell them anymore for fear of the chance someone may get a bad one. At the end of the season it gets incredibly harder to tell when they are past ripe. They all thump about the same now.
We do however have some pumpkins and a few crook neck squash if anyone is interested in any of those. 🙂
Will be in Shenandoah 3:00-5:30 pm with another truckload of Black Diamond Watermelons and possibly some pumpkins as well. Same place – where the Little Duffer use to be at the four way. 🙂
New Conservation sign was put up and I did a little photo doctoring in photoshop to make a few changes to it. 🙂
Things are still looking good, but a rain could be used to send them on a growing spurt. Think Dad would like some of the rows to start growing together so we can make the call to stop hoeing them.
