Sorry for no posts on here this year yet. New ground this year, gonna give the old ground a rest with some corn. Swapped some ground with a local farmer so we could try and rid ourselves of some troublesome problems we had last year maybe. Had some worries with a hail storm a few weeks back, but them seemed to bounce back well. We did have to re-plant some though. This last couple weeks has been very hot and humid which the watermelons are loving of course. Growing pretty fast!

Well, I think the melons are done. Dad said he doesn’t want to sell them anymore for fear of the chance someone may get a bad one. At the end of the season it gets incredibly harder to tell when they are past ripe. They all thump about the same now.
We do however have some pumpkins and a few crook neck squash if anyone is interested in any of those. 🙂
New Conservation sign was put up and I did a little photo doctoring in photoshop to make a few changes to it. 🙂
