Patch Update

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , on July 27, 2013 by Scottman

Things are still looking good, but a rain could be used to send them on a growing spurt. Think Dad would like some of the rows to start growing together so we can make the call to stop hoeing them.

Watermelons are snapping back from getting too much water and looking good.

Squash are vining out and looking healthy as well.

Cantaloupe are looking good too. There are a few rows that got hit by the mice hard and some spots that the water stood too long, where Dad had to replant some by hand. Those rows are going to be a bit behind everything else. Other than that, everything seems to be soaking up the dry and sun well. – Scott

The Squash are probably the furthest ahead and about to set out vines. Watermelons are a bit behind after the struggles with mice eating seed and replantings. Image
